Formula options: Milk supply can be increased by nursing or pumping more frequently, staying well hydrated and rested, and by supplementing your diet with the herb fenugreek. However, starting with a standard cow milk based formula such a Similac or Enfamil should be fine unless there is a close family history of lactose intolerance, in which case a lactose-free (usually labeled as 'sensitive') or soy can be used.
