Probably not: It depends on what allergic reactions your child have to whole milk. There are many ways that milk allergy can present, from mild to serious. It can affect the gut, skin, lung or can be life threatening. If it is a mild reaction like fussiness / gas, replace whole milk with partially hydrolyzed formula like enfamil gentlease. Otherwise, talk to an allergist or replace with rice, almond or soy milk.

Depends on variables: Most kids that are not tolerant to cow milk have issues other than true allergy.Of those that are allergic to cow milk, 30-40% are also allergic to soy based formulas.Hydrolized (alumentum) formulas may be tolerated or elemental (elecare) may help with allergic kids. If the sensitive balance of formula is not needed, almond milk is fine.
