Dental Care ?: Have you been treated for this by your dentist or are you self medicating? You're worried about sepsis, yet you are draining the abscess yourself. Now is the time to call for an emergency appointment.

Abscesses tooth : Antibiotics alone will. to cure the infection in your tooth. The only way to cure this infection is by treating the source of the infection, the tooth itself in your case extracting the tooth. Extracting the tooth is safer and less risky than leaving it. See your dentist ASAP. The extraction. Canbe done safely.

Go to the dentist: Go to the dentist for treatment. Your tooth has developed a gum abscess and is mobile or wiggles. The tooth should be removed and followedup in a week to evaluated any possible swelling or infection to the area.

Abscess and cracked: Get the tooth out as soon as possible. See an Oral Surgeon. Doxycycline is not one of the recommended antibiotics to use and that's part of the problem. Get professional care NOW! I would worry about trying to treat yourself much more than I would worry about how to properly and professionally treat the problem! You have only yourself to blame. Learn from this experience. Get regular checkups!
