A member asked:

Is it medically possible to determine an exact year a person loss their teeth. and is their a test that can determine if the loss was drug related.

Exact year, No.: By looking on a radiographic image (x-ray) to see how the bone at the extraction site has healed a dentist could probably tell you of the extraction was within the last few months, the last 2-3 years, or a longer time ago. There is no test that will tell you exact year or if the cause was drug related. For these answers we need to ask the patient.

Medical records: The patient's dental records will show exactly when the teeth were lost. There are no medical tests to determine that, or how the teeth were lost.
