Inguinal mesh : Any foreign object can cause problems. However the frequent prenatal visits you will have during your pregnancy should prevent anything serious from occurring. Remember to alert your OB to the presence of the mesh, so they can assess you for any swelling or discomfort in the left inguinal area. Here's to a happy, healthy baby!

Should not. : the most common complication would be infection of the mesh. Let your OB know about your previous surgery.

Most likely No: You're hernia repair should not interfere with you pregnancy. Most of the time the mesh is not communicating with inside the abdomen. Also, the mesh should not interfere with a c-section.
