Had hernia mesh repair 4 weeks ago for upper abdominal hernia. mesh is about 15cm in diameter. i am bloated, look pregnant. is this normal. have been given librax and probiotics to help reduce, but wondering if this swelling is normal?

Bloated after surger: Yes this can be normal for a while after abdominal surgery because air gets into the abdominal cavity. There is also some inflammation that occurs as healing takes place. As long as there is no other issues with bowels, pain or fever it should resolve with time.
