Like before i've had a swollen lymph node for a long time and i'm done taking antibiotics for strep throat so why hasn't the swelling gone down?

Takes time.: A swollen lymph node is generally part of the body fighting the infection you had. That inflammatory tissue takes a while to lessen, even though your strep infection may be gone. If the lymph node persists or becomes more swollen or red, you should have it re-checked by your doctor.
