Ginigivitis: See a dentist ASAP. Healthy gums are essential for dental health and can impair the integrity of your teeth. This should be seen and managed by your dentist as quickly as possible. Dental infections have the risk of becoming severe and extending to other areas.

See DDS ASAP!: I have seen patients report "pus" which is not, and "ulcers" which is infection. Draining puss on gums can be from either tooth or gum origin. It is not within your ability to diagnose and treat this. It requires a professional evaluation by a dentist. It requires exam and x-rays. Untreated infections lead to bone loss, loss of teeth, spread to other parts of the body and potentially death.

Ulcer: May be gum infection, impacted food material, or a fistulous tract from an impacted tooth. Please see a Dentist who can physically examine you, diagnose the problem, and recommend the best treatment.
