No prob: You may have been asked to provide a "mid-stream urine specimen" on a previous occasion, when the doctor was making sure you didn't have a bladder infection. This technique washes out the urethra from contamination and gives a more accurate answer. If you're checking for pregnancy, initial-, mid-, or late-stream urine doesn't matter; because the pregnancy hormone HCG is all mixed in there.
