I m 54yo male, pain urinating (at the end of peeing) and blood in the urine. all happened a day ago , after intercourse with wife. went to er , ct showed right ureter inflmation. doc suspects prostatitis (have history), prescribed cipro. worried!

Interesting, but: What is your question? In general, urine should not have blood in it. A person with blood in his urine needs a doctor's evaluation. If one's primary care doctor is not available, a urologist may be able to help or the ER doctor can help. There may be a urine infection or other problem in the kidneys, ureters, bladder, etc... This is a public forum for simple questions, but not medical advice.
