Hard to say: Usually the virus is most contagious in the early stages of the infection -when your child is having vomiting and diarrhea. Hopefully, you have been doing good handwashing all along. You may want to take some Immodium (OTC diarrhea medicine) with you, just in case. If you feel sick, eat lightly and drink clear fluids. You may be able to prevent the symptoms from being severe.
