Last night i took my usual dose of zoloft, (sertraline) 75. mg. today i took 4 mg. of my sons zofran because we all have a stomach bug. is this combo safe?worried!

Oh no! A bad choice: Ondansetron together with sertraline can increase risk of "serotonin syndrome" causing confusion, hallucination, seizure, extreme changes in blood pressure, increased heart rate, fever, excessive sweating, shivering or shaking, blurred vision, muscle spasm or stiffness, tremor, incoordination, stomach cramp, nausea, vomiting,diarrhea & even death.
