A member asked:

If i have social anxiety how much time it could take to feel a change if i want to start cognitive behavioral therapy ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

CBT: Seek a cognitive-behavioral therapist who specializes in phobias. One method they use is systematic desensitization which slowly and incrementally brings the person closer and closer to the thing they are afraid of in slow, graduated steps that help make the anxiety more tolerable. Different people take different amounts of time when recovering from social anxiety.
