Sounds like LSC: Lichen simplex chronicus is the thickening of your skin after chronic itching and scratching. If you scratch hard enough you can cause weeping and even secondary infection. Try aquaphor and AM lactam to reduce itching and help healing. Sometimes you may need prescription strength cordran tape to help from derm.
