Can azithromycin cause inverted t waves? ekg was norm until i started taking this. now i have inverted t waves but normal blood work as far as heart.

No: Ordinarily,no. But azithromycin can prolong an interval in the EKG called QT. The changes in your EKG are non specific and may or may not be significant. You need to to talk this out with your doctor or see a cardiologist if your primary MD or you remain concerned
