Bladder polyps : He can tell from the pathology report when he send the surgically removed polyps to pathology. He probably does have good clinical experience and is probably right with his hunches most of the time. Only the pathology report will tell for sure. I wish you the very best.

Well: he can guess pretty well but not anywhere close to 100%. Need tissue examined by pathology to be sure.

I went for my scheduled pap test and ask my doctor to run a urine test. He called and said I had blood in my urine and put me on a five day regime of nitrofurantoin and said if it does no clear he would refer me to a urologist. Should I b worried?
Urologist called me. Negative urine culture. Found WBC/Concerned its cancer of penis or urethra. Negative STDs. Coukd the WBC indicate Cancer? No blood.
Urine test 3-5 RBC, small blood, slight cloudy, WBC 0-2, mucous mod, Bacteria FEW, all else neg, no pain PC suggests see a urologist could this be a sign of cancer? What am I looking at here?
I had one worm-shaped blood clot in my urine 2 weeks ago. My urologist wants to perform a cystoscopy and abdom/pelvic CT to rule out cancer. However, Ive had numerous CTs over the years incl. one just 8 months ago. Can MRI and/or US be substituted?
