Probably not: renal colic is very painful, so I vote for hemorrhagic cystitis

Some other common: causes other than stone or infection could be polycystic kidney disease, vigorous exercise, bladder or kidney cancer, trauma. See a urologist for an evaluation. May need cystoscopy.
