Spot removed from front of left calf 3 days ago and now experiencing a stabbing pain in back of left calf - could this be related?

Pain in leg: There are possible ways that this could be connected but not very likely . For example it the spot were a serious cancer or if the site of the spot removal has gotten infected (which would look red and tender). If there is severe pain or, swelling or shortness of breath (which could come from a blot clot in the calf breaking off) you should see a doctor right away.
