Why are there some dark bruises below the ankle and near middle toes 2 weeks after cast was removed?

Trauma: Any trauma that causes bleeding below the skin eventually develops an ecchymosis or " black & Blue".Being on the foot the b&b has no where to go but down so it pools around the lower foot and toes. In time this will resolve.
