It may help, but...: Oxaprozin, like other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (nsaids), can temporarily relieve pain. However, this medication will do nothing to address the underlying infection that causes toothache. At best, nsaids play an ancillary role in the treatment of dental infection. Cure of dental infection requires formal intervention by a dentist.

Yes: Oxaproxin, advil, alieve, tylenol (acetaminophen) & Motrin will all give you some relief from a tooth ache... The problem is that the underlying issue is being masked only and the damage continues. Please see a dentist to avoid more pain and a more costly solution to your tooth pain.
