Probably OK: If your ophthalmologist (not optometrist) says the eye is fine, then these floaters are probably benign. But if they seem to be increasing, perhaps a second opinion with a retinal specialist would be helpful. Especially if you are a high myope, have a family history of retinal problems or are noticing a change in your vision including light flashes.
