NO: Varicose veins are a health concern as they can cause progressive deterioration of the leg venous blood flow over time, as the condition tends to be progressive (especially is you have the problem starting at age 20 yo). But there is no correlation with varicose vein disease and systemic hypertension. There is isolated "venous hypertension" in the legs with varicose veins, but this is different.
