Unclear: I'm not sure I quite understand the Q. But if your brother had a blood infection documented with a +ive blood culture and now he is getting a negative blood culture then that is a good sign.

A negative: "Final" result on one blood culture is good news however usually three are are done and if all three "Final" results are negative then it is pretty good evidence against "blood infection" or sepsis.

Blood culture: A blood culture is done to see if there is an infection in the blood. If it was negative, then no infection in the blood. I hope your brother does well.

No infection if all: blood cultures are negative. If you have questions ask his doctor.
