Depends: Check his blood sugar first and determine high or low or normal. Contact your physician with his symptoms and readings to get advice on what to do. If it's low <70-80 give him carbs like OJ, crackers, glucose oral tabs or gel and call doctor for further instructions. Call EMS/911 or drive him to ER if instructed for severe symptoms with high or low blood sugars persisting.

Diabetes: With diabetes it is important to know what his sugar level is, He needs to see the dr. or at least call his dr. Have his Glucose reading ready when you call. If it is very low, then you will need to give him some carbs or "sugar load" of some kind as this can become dangerous if it gets too low. Best wishes.
