A member asked:

Had endoscopy last week, found thickening of lower gullet, and taken biopsy . what will the results show?

No crystal ball, but: ...I understand your concern. Like many things in medicine, a single physical finding taken out of context can suggest nonspecifically a variety of phenomenon. Gastric thickening or nodularity may indicate hyperplasia, inflammation, an inflltrative process (like lymphoma), more. Rather than worry needlessly, please wait to hear your biopsy results, then treat objectively.
