No crystal ball, but: ...I understand your concern. Like many things in medicine, a single physical finding taken out of context can suggest nonspecifically a variety of phenomenon. Gastric thickening or nodularity may indicate hyperplasia, inflammation, an inflltrative process (like lymphoma), more. Rather than worry needlessly, please wait to hear your biopsy results, then treat objectively.

I recently got an upper endoscopy and the biopsy results came back as mild chronic inactive gastritis. I don't think this is all that is happening. There is also pain on both sides of my lower abdomen. can gastritis be causing this as well?
Had a upper endoscopy done got told normal stomach normal beginning of small intestine abnormal z line where lower esophagus meets beginning of stomach waiting on biopsy results if biopsies are normal should i still be worried about a abnormal z line?

Recent endoscopy w/biopsy (Antrum-only) showed focal IM and was h-pylori negative. Breath test ordered but faultywill repeat. Serum test was IgG- IgM- but IgA+(12.2). Does this show active h-pylori infection? If not, what does the IgA result mean?
