I had an endoscopy wednesday and thegi doctor said no cancer in the esophagus. i want to be happy but how can she do that without the biopsy results. sed rate was 32 last saturday. i think she forgot. im scared she is wrong. chronic cough to gagging

Endoscopy: You should feel confident that you do not have an esophageal cancer. The direct endoscopy would visualize some abnormality of the esophagus. Also esophageal cancer is not typically a cause for an elevated sed rate. Conditions to consider would be inflammatory conditions. Crohn's disease would be a possibility for example. Be happy that cancer not a problem. However, get back with your provider.
