Endoscopy: You should feel confident that you do not have an esophageal cancer. The direct endoscopy would visualize some abnormality of the esophagus. Also esophageal cancer is not typically a cause for an elevated sed rate. Conditions to consider would be inflammatory conditions. Crohn's disease would be a possibility for example. Be happy that cancer not a problem. However, get back with your provider.
