Lipoma: A Lipoma is a benign growth of fat cells. I do not understand the worry behind your numerous questions about this today. It is a benign growth, usually in the skin. That means it is not in any way associated with the uterus. If your lipoma is causing you pain you can easily have it removed surgically. But I do not see why you are so worried about this. Perhaps you should discuss with your OB.

No.: A lipoma is a fatty tumor that is usually encapsulated and certainly will not harm the baby. Normally one would watch a lipoma and only have it removed if it caused pain or one elected to have elective surgery for cosmetic reasons. Good luck and congratulations with your baby.
