Many complications. : Check your blood sugar when you are having these episodes, it may be dipping too low. Also get a cardiac evaluation including an EKG and echocardiogram to make sure your heart isn't causing the problem. Other possible causes include ministrokes, carotid artery blockage, and vertigo. Long standing diabetes and hypertension can have many complications so get checked out ASAP!
