Every few weeks, when i wake up i'm incredibly dizzy and nauseous for the day. the only time the world stops spinning is when i'm lying down. my vision blur. it lasts a day or 2. is it a type of panic attack or diabetes?

Vertigo: What you are describing sounds like a type of vertigo, which is often due to an inner ear dysfunction. Ideally you should be evaluated by a neurologist

Inner ear: Sounds like otolithic instability in inner ear. Less likely Meniere’s. An Epley maneuver by physical therapist might work. ENT doctor good choice
