A member asked:

Non-diabetic patient with symptoms of daily dizziness, nausea, episodic blurred vision on cgm trial, which showed episodes of sudden glucose drop from 107 to 54mg/dl. what's the likely cause? anything to do with "invisible obesity" body composition?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

There are many things that can cause blood sugar to drop and these can include some medications, drinking too much alcohol, hypothyroidism, side effects of weight loss surgery, liver or kidney problems, anorexia nervosa, problems in the pancreas, and certain genetic disorders to name only a few. Best to be seen by a doctor and start an assessment.
