Latuda (lurasidone): It is a very effective antipsychotic mood stabilizer which may reduce the risk of diabetes in persons with mental disorders. Many persons gain weight with those type of compounds, increasing the risk of developing obesity and high blood sugar. Latuda (lurasidone) is one medication with lower potential to produce metabolic syndrome (obesity, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, hyperglycemia)
