A member asked:

Currently on saphris (asenapine) but having bad nightmares and not really feeling good on it, been on it 2 months, would latuda be a good replacement?

If you are bipolar: Latuda (lurasidone) may indeed be a good choice. If not bipolar, then more health info is needed. Please discuss with your treatment provider. Best wishes.

Saphris (asenapine)? Latuda?: I'm sorry to hear you're not yet feeling better on saphris (asenapine). Talk with ur prescribing doctor. Your doc can review your concerns, any side effects, and any ongoing sxs you may have, to determine, with you, what the next steps in your tx should be. Latuda is also an atypical antipsychotic, like saphris (asenapine), so if ur doc recommended it, it may be the right choice. Always work with ur doc on med choices :)
