Interactions: There is concern that these medications together would cause a serotonin syndrome that could lead to cardiovascular collapse. However, in one 1994 study, patients on both these medications were found to have no serious side effects and no side effects that were found that were not in one of the medications alone. Still, many would advise not taking the medications together.
