See Gastroenterology: If you have been on Omeprazole and taking it daily for over a month, and have changed your diet appropriately, then you need to be further evaluated. A GI (gastroenterologist) may recommend that you have an endoscopy done to be sure it's not an ulcer or other cause of your symptoms. Best wishes.
