GERD not controlled.: No, the problem is not that your stomach is too alkaline, but that you still have acid reflux which is not well controlled, now that you're not taking omeprazole any longer. At this point your best bet is to continue antireflux measures and to see a gastroenterologist, since your symptoms seem to be persistent. You may need tests and/or medication longterm. Good luck.
