A member asked:

I have gerd and anxiety. i am supposed to take omeprazole and pepcid twice a day and now celexa 10 mg. is celexa and pepcid and omeprazole a good mix or bad? what else can i take for gerd that will be okay

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Gerd: Taking pepcid and omeprazole simultaneously appears redundant. You can also take antacids like carafate or mylanta. Don't forget lifestyle changes like not lying down until 2 hours after a meal or after drinking caffeinated beverages. Avoid spicy and oily foods.
