It depends: It depends on what's causing the pain. Naproxen is a nonsteroidal antiinflammatory medication that will address most if not all forms of pain. Baclofen has muscle relaxant properties that are helpful if there is a spasm component or increased tone component of pain. It also modulates neurotransmitters like serotonin which can further help modulate how you body "perceives" pain. Best of luck.
