Symptom relief-exam: Right now, elevate legs and as they can tolerate it do gentle massage and flex movements of feet ankle calf muscles. Avoid salt , caffeine, alcohol and till swelling goes, limit fluids. Get an exam ASAP to discover cause and follow treatment plan. There are many possible causes - find yours. Avoid OTC drugs that warn about water retention. Good luck.
