Some of the blood vessels speclly in the temples in our heads are very close to the skull Therefore susceptible to minor trauma to the head. Persistent headaches, mental status changes, drowsiness are all worrisome signs. Please go to the ER if you are having continued headaches, nausea blurred vision, drowsiness or any other progressive symptoms. An bleeding inside the head must be ruled out

Headache is a sign of a concussion. You do not have to have any bleeding on a head CT to have headaches from a concussion. If you are 28 hours out from the injury and not showing any worsening signs, then you most likely have nothing significant on a head CT or it is very minor. If symptoms progress such as nausea, worsening headaches, confusion or anything concerning then go to the ER.
