I suffer from panic and anxiety. have had yellow diarrhea on and off (no pain, fever, or vomiting). ssri seemed to fix bowel problem but i can't take ssris anymore. what can i do?

See Dr/GI and PCP: Your PCP and GI dr should be able to work together. IBS is a diagnosis of exclusion, but with anxiety, it certainly seems you probably have a touch of IBS-d as well. the SSRI class not only helped your Anxiety, but there are Seratonin cells in the gut too. There is help for you in other treatment modalities, and a good dr/pt relationship should help you through both your issues. Best wishes.

Seems Like...: You might have irritable bowel syndrome. Many respond very well to high fiber diets, at least 20 grams of fiber per day... Please consider Metamucil twice daily
