Usually over-dry: This usually happens when your nose has been unusually dry or irritated by allergies or sinus infection. In the shower, the warm water causes the blood vessels to dilate inside your nose, and then bleed. Usually this will subside with a gentle saline mist several times a day, with a product like 'Simply Saline' over the counter. If it persists more than 2 weeks, you should see your doctor.
