Longest: 4 days: The half-life of Atorvastatin is 20-30 hours, so it takes about 4 days for your body to flush out the medicine. If your muscles are inflamed, it make take longer for the achiness to go away. Some folks have felt better after they've taken coenzyme q10 [but it's pricy]. Taking coenzyme q10 while you are taking a statin may help prevent muscle aches in the first place. Good luck.
