Yes: The body uses adequate sleep to regulate all of it. During that time it restores itself and return to a healthy balance. Without that, a variety of off-normal sensations are possible. So do try to maintain a good sleep pattern - 8 hours per day is really correct for most people. More for many especially under demanding circumstances. A few can do w/ less, but it seems you are not one.
