Bipolar depression: Latuda (lurasidone) is indicated for bipolar depression, not unipolar depression. Schedule an appointment with your prescribing physician.

Latuda is FDA: approved for the treatment of Bipolar I depression. However, that doesn't mean that it can't be used off-label for unipolar depression. May take 3 to 4 weeks at an appropriate dose for you to see effects and possible 2 to 3 months to see full effects. I can't say how good it is for unipolar depresssion - but it has been effective for many with Bipolar II Depression.
