A member asked:

Does this sound like a blood clot?on my calf if lightly tap or brush it,it hurts.just that spot.like at the very top layer.no redness or swelling.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not really: Symptoms of deep blood clots (DVT) are often vague: a deep ache, swelling, feeling like a "muscle strain," not typically sensitivity to light touch like you describe. Blood clots in superficial veins usually cause a red, warm, tender cord that can be felt just below the skin surface.
