I have been shortness of breath for a few days and now am having pain in my calf. no swelling or redness does this sound like a blood clot?

NO: First, the type of blood clot that goes into the lungs usually arises in the pelvis, not leg. Second, the main symptom of a leg clot is swelling (which may also be sore). Finally, you need risk factors: birth control pills, recent surgery, recent fracture, long trip with immobilization, cancer, or a clotting disorder.
