See PM&R: Once upset, hip joints can take awhile to improve, since cannot exactly "favor" both at once. Ask your Dr to send you to Physical Therapy for Eval & plan. Sometimes a change in NSAIDs can get better effect.

Wow: Olympic gymnast! That's awesome! You could have problems in your back causing hip pain. I would recommend evaluation by an orthopedic or sports medicine specialist.
