Even listing may be too long, so you need to follow-up: Exercise, Yoga, Meditation, Volunteering, Creative stuff, Talk therapy, Time outdoors - gardening, birding, photography, reading, comtemplating. Wait: in most cases, depression is a self limited illness that will get better with time. "Un-natural" treatments such as herbs, pills, ECT, psychotherapy only shorten the duration, lessen the severity, and prevent recurrence. You can also try to stay active and don't do anything irreversible (e.g. harming self, others, get a divorce). These may be hard to do when depression is severe.
