A member asked:

Is it possible that one sore could be herpes and won't grow another one? can you have it after 7 months of exposure?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Herpes and syphilis: Sexually transmitted diseases are no fun. Therefore docs always recc prevention. Talk to your partner too- it can go along way. Herpes is usually multiple blisters and v painful. Syphilis on the other hand can come up as one sore only that ulcerates and may not be painful. There are other STDs but they are less common. I think you should see a doc and get this treated.
