Sore throat .: ENT docs are trained to see that redness associated with Reflux in the back of the throat that we can't see when we look . I suspect you have other symptoms such as coughing when you lay down , inability tocarry a high note . heart burn . I beleive you will be feeling as good as new in 6 weeks or so . Continue yur fallow up with ENT

Sore throat: A persistent sore throat could be a sign of cancer. Usually throats go away within a few weeks. If soreness persists for 4 weeks or more and especially if it is only on one side then cancer should be suspected. Associated ear pain is also highly suspicious for cancer. If your sore throat is due to acid reflux then it should go away with proper meds. If not get re-checked or seek a second opinion
